“文必工，技必良”。这是米兰体育官网入口外国语学院一贯奉行的育人育才标准。始建于1978年的米兰体育官网入口外国语学院，是山东省重要的外语类人才培养基地，具有雄厚的师资力量和科研条件。
学院设有英语、商务英语、俄语、西班牙语4个本科专业和翻译硕士专业学位授权点。大学外语教学部面向全校开设必修课和各类选修课。现有教职工135人，其中教授、副教授51人，博士(在读博士)57人，硕士生导师13人，博士生导师2人；国家级、省级学会负责人5人、省市级专项评审专家、突出贡献专家9人，省级青创项目主持人1人；常年聘用外籍教师近20人次。
学院拥有“临沂RCEP区域合作研究中心”“山东省普通高等学校示范性实习（实训）基地”“山东省外贸新业态跨境电商实训基地”和“省级语言综合实验教学中心”等省级研究机构和实训平台。设有“托福”“GRE”“西班牙语国际评估测试考试中心”“全国国际商务英语证书”和“山东省口语等级考试证书”等考点。雄厚的教学科研实力，奠定了外院良好的发展基础。
米兰体育综合官方网站硕果丰硕。英语专业于2017年获批山东省高水平应用型立项建设专业，2019年获批山东省一流本科专业建设点，2021年获批国家级一流本科专业建设点。近五年来获批国家级、省级课程和教学项目6项，其中2019年度获批的教育部援外项目填补了学校层面此类项目的空白，2021-2024年度获批省级教改项目重点3项、面上和职业教育项目各1项；获批国家级、省级一流课程、省级课程思政示范工程和省级研究生教育优质课程共5门；荣获国家级教学比赛一等奖十余项，校级教学项目五十余项，出版教材3部，发表教学论文百余篇。学生竞赛团队获全国互联网+创业大赛铜奖1项，省级银奖和铜奖各1项，国家级大学生创新创业计划训练项目16项，省级学科竞赛奖项二百余项。大学外语实施分级教学模式改革和全面机考改革，创新人才培养模式。进行混合式教学方法创新，推行“互联网+教学”、“互联网+课程”。
学科科研齐头并进。学科建设和科学研究稳步推进，聘请国内外知名学者专家担任学科顾问。“汉语儿童多模态口语语料库”、“医患会语语料库多模态语料库”备受国内外学界关注；主持或参与国家级课题13项，教育部及国家部委基金项目7项，境外有资项目2项，山东省社科基金项目30余项，市厅级项目200余项；发表SSCI、SCI、A&HCI、CSSCI高层次论文70余篇，出版教授博士文库20余部；科研到位经费3000余万元，获省级社科优秀成果奖6项，市厅级社科优秀成果奖39项。
国际交流特色鲜明。与美国、英国、俄罗斯、法国、西班牙、韩国、埃及、马来西亚等十几个国家70余所高校建立了合作关系，建立了国外汉语教育工作室、海外学生实习实践基地、创新创业园。与国外多所高校签订联合培养协议，博士生国际化发展的育人特色已初步显现。近1000名学生赴西班牙、俄罗斯、埃及、美国、法国、韩国等国著名大学留学，其中，国家基金委公派留学俄罗斯和西班牙近50人，国家汉办志愿者50多人。多次举办国内外有影响力的学术会议，多次承办山东省“一带一路”跨境电商战略专题培训班，服务“一带一路”与地方经济。
匠心培育成绩斐然。团学队伍始终以一颗“匠心”培育人才，推进党建与学生工作融合发展，坚持联系班级和学生党团组织。获批全国样板党支部1个，全国高校“活力团支部”1个。积极打造外语文化节、女生文化节、社团文化节，形成“打基础、搭平台、亮特色、成体系”的团学工作模式，获评山东省2023年度“百万大学生进社区”社会实践先进集体、临沂市志愿服务先进集体等称号。成立“沂路同行”外事志愿服务团队，积极为省、市各类大型国际会议等活动提供翻译、志愿服务。暑期三下乡社会实践团活动在中青校园等媒体发布，“沂路花开”实践队被评为临沂市优秀社会实践团队。不断加强和优化学风建设，近三年来，学生国家级科研立项2项，省级、校级科研立项20余项，发表论文30余篇；在省市级及以上赛事中获奖800余人次，校级获奖人数400余人次；出国留学400余人次，600余人考取国内外研究生、公务员、事业编。

Introduction of Foreign Language School of LYU
To educate our students to be educated in theory and skilled in practice. This quote has been the applied standard for educating students in the Foreign Language School of Linyi University since it was founded in 1978. With its strong faculty and research conditions, it has become an important training base for foreign language talents in Shandong Province.
At present, the school has five undergraduate majors, namely English, Business English, Russian, Spanish, and Arabic. The foreign language teaching department of the school is responsible for providing compulsory courses and various elective courses for the whole university. At present, there are 136 faculty members, including 44 professors and associate professors, 56 doctors (including doctoral students), 11 master supervisors, 2 doctoral supervisors, 5 leaders of national or provincial academic societies, 9 provincial and municipal special evaluation experts and outstanding contribution experts, and 1 provincial youth entrepreneurship project leaders. And nearly 20 foreign teachers are employed throughout the year.
The school has research institutions such as RCEP Regional Cooperation Research Center in Linyi, Shandong Cross-border E-commerce Training Base for New Foreign Trade Formats and Provincial Language Comprehensive Experimental Teaching Center. There are TOEFL Test Center, GRE Test Center, Spanish International Evaluation and Testing Center, Centers for International Chinese Teaching Qualification Certification, Center for National International Business English Certification and Shandong Oral English Level Examination Center, and many other testing sites. Strong teaching and scientific research have laid a good foundation for the development of the Foreign Languages School.
Major educational achievements and teaching awards. Our English programme was nominated as the High-level Application-oriented Programme of Shandong Province in 2017 and the First-class Undergraduate Programme Construction Institute in 2019. In the past three years, four provincial teaching projects have been approved. It's worth mentioning that the foreign aid programme approved by the National Ministry of Education in 2019 has filled the gap of such projects at the university level. Meanwhile, one provincial first-class course and one provincial high-quality postgraduate course have been approved; more than 10 first prizes have been awarded in national teaching competitions; more than 50 university-level teaching projects have been approved; and 3 teaching materials and more than 100 teaching papers have been published.
The student competition team won 1 bronze award in the National Internet + Entrepreneurship Competition, 10 approved training projects in the National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Programme for College Students, and more than 200 awards in provincial discipline competitions. The reform of the graded teaching mode and the comprehensive computer-based examination are being implemented in college foreign language teaching, and the talent training mode is being updated. The blended teaching method has been upgraded, and Internet-plus teaching and Internet-plus courses have been implemented.
Discipline building and scientific research go hand in hand. Discipline construction and scientific research are making steady progress, and well-known scholars and experts at home and abroad are being recruited as discipline consultants. The Chinese Children's Multimodal Spoken Language Corpus has attracted the attention of academic circles at home and abroad. Our faculty members have led or participated in 13 national projects, one State Language Commission Entrusted Project, more than 30 Shandong Social Science Fund projects, more than 170 municipal and departmental projects, and published more than 70 high-level papers in SSCI, SCI, A&HCI, CSSCI journals, more than 20 professors' and doctors' libraries. The school's total on-site research funds have reached over 5.5 million RMB. The School has also won 6 provincial social science excellence awards and 34 municipal and departmental social science excellence awards.
Outstanding international exchange models. The school has established cooperation with more than 70 universities in more than a dozen countries, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, France, Spain, South Korea, Egypt and Malaysia, and set up Chinese language teaching studios, student internship bases and innovation and entrepreneurship parks overseas. Joint training agreements have been signed with many foreign universities, and the educational characteristics of international development of doctoral students have begun to emerge. Nearly 1,000 students went to study at prestigious universities in Spain, Russia, Egypt, the United States, France, South Korea and other countries, including nearly 50 sent by the State Foundation Commission to study in Russia and Spain, and more than 50 volunteers from the Confucius Institute Headquarters. We have held many influential academic conferences and jointly held many Belt and Road cross-border e-commerce strategic training courses in Shandong Province to serve the Belt and Road industries and local economy.
The cultivation of ingenuity has achieved remarkable results. The League Education team always cultivates talents with an ingenuity. The Foreign Language School Academy Youth League was nominated as one of the top ten Belt and Road summer social practice teams, excellent organisational units, and awarded the title of May 4 Red Flag League Committee of Shandong Province. One person was shortlisted for the Ninth National College Counsellor of the Year, including 2 top ten counsellors in Shandong Province, 2 provincial excellent counsellors and 4 provincial excellent instructors. In 2020, it won the first place in the League Education performance assessment of the whole university. The Student Party Branch of Business English Department has become the Shandong Province Model Party Branch of Linyi University. The student organisation Accompany with Xinger has won provincial and municipal awards several times and has become the school's flagship organisation. In the past three years, the students have won more than 900 provincial and higher awards, more than 400 students have studied abroad, and more than 600 have been admitted to postgraduate programmes at home and abroad, civil servants and career editors.
