In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech on ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin, on March 24, the final of the “Yellow River Bay” International Youth Chinese Competition, co-organized by the Office of the Foreign Affairs Working Committee of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee, the Shandong Provincial Department of Education, and Shandong Provincial Television, ended successfully at Qufu Normal University. Khalimzhon, an international student in our school guided by Teacher Liu Honglei, stood out among the many contestants and won the second prize.
This competition is aimed at all international youth working, studying and living in Shandong, and has received a total of 257 works from 49 countries. Khalimzhon, an international student from our college from Tajikistan, talked about his understanding and profound understanding of the Yellow River culture with the title The Yellow River in My Eyes. Khalimzhon expressed great gratitude to the school and the competition organizing committee for the platform to showcase talents for international students, which is a valuable opportunity to exercise speech skills and expression skills. At the same time, he said that he would work harder to learn Chinese, tell Chinese stories well, spread Chinese voice well, and make greater contributions to promoting cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.
